M&A Advisory Services

OUR SERVICES

Three engagements,
each with a clear purpose.

We offer a small number of services, each designed for a specific moment in the transaction consideration process. We believe doing a few things well is more useful than offering a broad menu.

OUR METHODOLOGY

A considered approach
to advisory work.

Our methodology is shaped by a simple belief: that good advisory work requires listening carefully before speaking, writing clearly before acting, and maintaining independence at every stage.

We begin each engagement by spending time understanding your situation — not just the surface-level commercial question, but the context in which it sits. Who owns the business, and what do they want from it? What has shaped the leadership team's thinking about a possible transaction? What would a successful outcome actually look like in five years?

Only once we have a clear picture of the situation do we begin our analysis and reflection. Our written outputs are not generic documents — they are responses to your specific circumstances, written with the care that significant decisions deserve.

Listen first

We spend meaningful time understanding your situation before forming any view.

Examine carefully

We review the materials, ask the questions others may not raise, and look at what is not said as much as what is.

Write clearly

Every engagement concludes with a written output you can return to, share, and act on.

SERVICE 01

Pre-Transaction Review

MYR 4,380

A considered review conducted for leaders thinking carefully about whether a transaction — whether acquiring, being acquired, or combining — would sit well with their wider intentions for the business. The work is held in confidence.

We hold structured conversations with leadership, review relevant internal materials, and offer a written reflection on the strategic fit, the organisational implications, and the questions worth examining further before any mandate is issued.

Suited to owner-managed firms and mid-sized businesses in Malaysia considering their options for the first time or returning to a question after a period of reflection.

What this engagement includes:

  • Initial confidentiality arrangement
  • Structured leadership interviews (2–3 sessions)
  • Review of relevant internal materials
  • Written reflection on strategic and organisational fit
  • Questions for further examination before mandate
  • Debrief session with leadership team

SERVICE 02

Integration Planning Advisory

MYR 3,780

Tailored support for leadership teams preparing for the integration of two businesses. Our focus is on the human, operational, and cultural dimensions rather than on the legal mechanics — the dimensions that determine whether people actually work together effectively after a transaction completes.

We work alongside your internal integration leads, offering structured reading of the task ahead and facilitating the working sessions necessary to build a considered plan. The integration workshop brings together the leadership teams and creates a shared foundation for the work ahead.

Integration plans that work are built collaboratively. A plan that only one part of the leadership team owns will not survive the first difficult month after a transaction closes.

Deliverables included:

  • Integration approach document
  • Integration sequencing sketch with priority dependencies
  • Facilitated leadership planning workshop
  • Workshop output note
  • 30-day follow-up session (included)

SERVICE 03

Deal Consideration Session

MYR 1,180

A confidential session for senior leaders or owners wishing to think carefully about a specific opportunity that has come into view — an approach from a potential counterparty, a chance to acquire, or a question of timing.

Before the session, we exchange a short written brief under an appropriate confidentiality arrangement. The session itself, lasting three hours, is held with care and without pressure. A short written note follows, capturing the themes of the discussion and any reflections you asked for.

Many owners who receive an approach from a potential buyer feel they need to respond quickly. In our experience, taking a few days to think carefully about the opportunity — with a structured session — leads to far better decisions.

What this session covers:

  • Pre-session confidential written brief exchange
  • Three-hour structured consideration session
  • Discussion of strategic fit and leadership intentions
  • Examination of timing and context
  • Post-session written note with themes and reflections
